Donors & Dams

 Females are the core of any herd. You can’t breed good bulls without having good females to start with. We put a lot of effort into ensuring that the females we keep on farm are continually breeding as good and better than themselves. We want females with good feet, structure that lasts over time, an udder that doesn’t come apart, a good maternal outlook, and an easy-doing type that allows the to put more into their calves. The cows we have are sweet natured and quiet, as these are both traits that get passed on to calves and do not take long to get out of check. We are working on established a genetic program on-farm and these are the cows that we are doing this with.
